Cotime A mobile app that lets you explore
OVERVIEW

About the project

The main challenge in this project was to create an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface for an app that handles complex tasks like selecting specific dates, times, and locations. It needed to reduce user errors, avoid unsafe time periods, and help users discover interesting historical events.

I contributed by developing personas, creating wireframes, and designing the final UI. My focus was on making the interface intuitive while including all the key features the app needed.

Persona

My main user is Maxwell Jameson, a tech-savvy investor and entrepreneur. He loves to explore new places, learn about history, and try new things. Time travel is exciting to him because it helps him learn and grow. This persona helped me understand that users want the app to be easy to use, safe, and full of useful information. It also guided our design to match the needs of curious and independent users.

Wireframe

Due to limited time, I created low-fidelity wireframes using quick sketches to visualize the main structure of the app. This helped me plan the layout and core features before moving on to detailed design.

Design Direction

The design was guided by three main keywords: Vibrant, Glass, and Borderless. These reflect the energy, clarity, and freedom of time travel. The moodboard uses a wide range of colors to support this idea. Orange represents the past with a warm and nostalgic feeling. Blue stands for the future, giving a sense of technology. Purple, used for the present, combines both feelings and gives a magical vibe, as if the user can go anywhere in time.
